The official Porsche calendar 2009, taking the slogan “Engineering and Efficiency”, shows twelve close-up views of high-tech components, to which the Porsche sports cars owe their efficiency.  Whether the double-clutch gearbox, VarioCam Plus or direct fuel injection – the larger-than-life technical components represent a reduction in consumption and CO2 emissions and provide an exciting backdrop to the current Porsche models. The calendar, which comes in a 59 mm x 55.5 centimetre format and is traditionally complimented with a collection of coins, costs 35 euros including value added tax. In August 2008, this year’s calendar received the renowned ”IF communication design award 2008” for its achievement in design.

This year, for the first time, an exclusive wall calendar version of the historic calendar has been produced in a DIN A1 size. The photographs in the largest Porsche calendar ever are eminently suitable for framing by the purchasers themselves. Produced on high-quality, matt, uncoated paper, the calendar is limited, appropriately, to 2,009 copies, the number of the year, and each bears a unique consecutive number to mark the special edition.  The price is 99 euros including value added tax.
