What used to be known as the Kitzbühel “mid-season“ will blaze a completely new trail for the tourism industry this year. The Gamsstadt is offering sponsors and football fans luxury accommodation and public viewing at the Euro 08.

Immediately following the draw, the accommodation reservations centre suffered an onslaught from those seeking rooms in Kitzbühel. Accommodation was in particular high demand among sponsor companies from Spain, Russia and Sweden.

Geographically located exactly at the heart of the EURO 08 between Salzburg and Innsbruck, Kitzbühel is offering its guests live football on screen. Selected bars and refreshment stations, as well as live music before and after the live screenings, round off the exclusive spectacle.
Currently under discussion is the decision where to hold the public viewings. Both the ice stadium in the sports park and the inner city are on the short list.
