Kitzbühel fully booked during the Christmas period

 

Despite the financial crisis, Kitzbühel had plenty of bookings throughout the Christmas period. Even the snow situation led the tourism professionals to hope for a lucrative holiday season. 

According to the Kitzbühel Tourist Association it was practically impossible to find a room in Kitzbühel during the holidays. There is often something to be had at short notice but the town and the region were extremely well booked over the Christmas period according to the association.

The Kitzbühel mountains had about half a metre of snow prior to Christmas.
